Wouldn’t it be great to be able to maintain and repair your boat’s engine? Is there anything worse than being on the water, the engine fails and there’s nothing you can do but call for help? The Banana River Sail and Power Squadron, BRSPS, is offering a training session for those boaters who wish to better understand, maintain and work with their marine engines.
The MARINE ENGINE MAINTENANCE Course registration deadline is February 10, 2012. The course will start February 23. The course is approximately eight sessions of two hours. The course is held at Lewis Rivers and Associates, 355 View Drive, Satellite Beach.
This course stresses the diagnosis of modern systems. Gasoline inboards, outboards, and diesel engines are taught in a way that reinforces the common aspects of how engines work focusing on the student’s engine.
