Edward S. Lazowska Trophy - Jim Miller, Sea Turtle
The Edward S. Lazowska Memorial Trophy is presented in
recognition of the outstanding and dedicated support of ocean racing shown
by Ed and Genie Lazowska. Aboard their yacht Genie, a 26-foot
Westerly, they provided many years of tireless race committee duty both on
the river and offshore. This trophy is now awarded for the best overall
ocean racing performance by an ECSA skipper. The Edward S. Lazowska Memorial
Trophy replaced the H.T.I. Cup which was presented from 1972 to 1987.

the ECSA for many years. The Robert X. Perry Trophy is awarded to the ECSA
skipper of the boat that achieves the best overall results in ECSA river
racing series each year.
