Welcome to another IRYC Wednesday Race
Series. Wednesday races begin March31h, 2010. Races start at 6:30. Seven
week series with two throw out races per series. We will use the same
race courses as last year
(copy
attached). If you haven't
registered yet, please complete the
attached
form and return to me. You can
register for one series or as many as you want. Form includes the phone
number you want to be contacted at in case of rain cancellation.
We have new boats competing this year,
including some of our volunteer race committee which have bought new
boats and will be competing with us. This means that we will be going
back to the old system of selecting race committees. Each competing
boat will be requested to provide race committee one race each series.
Boats providing race committee can still compete if they choose to, if
not, they can use one of their two throw out races. Race committee
responsibilities include starting the races from the dock and forwarding
the finish times to the Fleet Captain.
We look forward to another fun year. Please
forward this to other skippers not on this mailing list. As always, if
you have any good ideas to improve our races, please forward them to
me. Will also accept mediocre ideas.

Race Instructions: Race start
time is 6:30pm. A warning of 3 blasts will be given at 6:24pm, Sequence will start
at 6:25pm. PHRF will use the race course sheet

Cost: $25.00 per series
Print the
course sheet, and then
get the course number from R/C on VHF 72. Also, don't forget to check
with race committee after the race on VHF 72 to find out where the group is
meeting for dinner after the race.
